Catholic Schools Week Begins with a
Visit from Bishop Hebda
Bishop Bernard Hebda presided over the Monday
morning Mass to kick off Catholic Schools week.  Bishop
Hebda greeted the children and parishioners after mass,
before joining the children for brunch in the gathering
space.
Hebda went on to visit each classroom, and answered
questions from the students.  Many students were
interested in the Bishop's clothing and staff.  Hebda
surprised the students and staff by announcing that he
was giving them a day off the following week.

Time for Book Fair

If it is Catholic Schools week then it must be time for the
Scholastic Book Fair.  St. Mary's students enjoyed the
book fair during Special Person's Day on Monday,
February 1st.
