What's New and Happening.....
Our Music Director's, Rita MacIntyre,  two children's choirs will continue to meet on Wednesdays; 1st-3rd
grades from 3:30-4pm and 4th-6th graders from 4-4:30pm.

Additionally, Mr. Robert Dudd, Education Director for Crooked Tree Arts Center, will be offering a strings
class for students in grades 2-6. There is no fee for this program and a nominal rental charge for an
instrument.

Project ASSIST
Our Extended Day Care Program doors open at 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.  The child care program
will continue each week day from 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. for those who need after school care.  The fee for
this program is $3.00 per hour.  Please inform the school office if you intend to utilize this service.
It is with great pride that we offer Project ASSIST to greater address the individualized math and reading
needs of our students. If a student is determined to have either a grade level deficiency or proficiency, he or
she is eligible for the program.  The program will be headed up by Mrs. Linda Moore, who has 35 years
teaching experience including instruction in remedial math and reading.   She employs the
Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction (EBLI) strategies that can assist early learners to reach their highest
level of achievement.

Musical Notes from St. Mary School
Registration for the 2008-2009 school year is here! The first tuition payment must be made by June 1st to
ensure your child's spot.

We are selling beautiful kites for $20. Half of all proceeds go to St. Mary School so Sell and Fly a kite!

Shorts will be allowed beginning Monday, April 21st. Please review the Dress Code for specifics.

On Saturday, April 26, at the 5:00 pm Liturgy, twenty-six students received the sacraments of Confirmation
and First Eucharist.  We ask that God continues to bless each of them with the grace to enter the heart of
Jesus and to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
